Smashing Pumpkins presenta su canción: Drum + Fife

‘Drum + Fife’ es el nombre de una de las canciones más recientes de Smashing Pumpkins.

El video contó con la dirección de Jimmy Alhander y Robin Antiga, quienes logran contar el drama que viven un grupo de niños en medio de un campo minado.

Sobre esta canción, Corgan afirmó: «Yo pedí, aunque sea de manera alegórica para el video, que represente lo que nuestros soldados están pasando cuando regresan con trastorno de estrés postraumático, y siento que los directores lo capturaron con intensidad… No podría estar más orgulloso del mensaje que estamos enviando, que nos importa lo que les pasa a los que están por afuera heridos«.

El tema, Drum + Fife, está incluida en el más reciente trabajo discográfico “Monuments to an Elegy”, lanzado en Diciembre del año pasado bajo la producción de Billy Corgan, Howard Willing y Jeff Schroeder.
