My Morning Jacket presenta su nueva canción ‘Big decisions’

Una vez el disco esté disponible a la venta, My Morning Jacket arrancará una gira por todo Estados Unidos hasta finales de agosto, cuando cruzarán el Atlántico para recorrer Europa de festival en festival.

Frente al proceso de composición y producción del disco, Jim Jamen, cantante, guitarrista y principal compositor de My Morning Jacket afirma: “Para mí, cada disco contiene el espíritu de donde lo grabamos. Stinson Beach era tan psicodélico y centrado que era como si viviéramos en nuestra propia pequeña luna. Te sentías en el paraíso“.

Por su parte, el teclista Bo Koster asegura: “de todos los sitios donde hemos grabado, creo que éste ha definido el disco más que ningún otro en un sentido espiritual“.

Sobre el nuevo sonido de a banda, Jamen afirma: “el sonido de este disco es el de mi vida: el sonido de pasar una página y no estar seguro de qué viene a continuación”. El baterista, Patrick Hallahan agrega: “El mantra era ‘todo vale, ninguna piedra sin levantar, se acabará cuando tenga que acabar”.
