Coheed and Cambria presenta su canción: You Got Spirit, Kid

El video de ‘You got Spirit, kid‘ está ambientado en la estética de las películas de adolescentes de los 80´s.

En las imágenes podemos ver al cantante de la banda Claudio Sanchez su agrupación tomando venganza contra los bullies y porristas de la escuela Amory High con una serie de bromas.

«Nuestro trabajo con ‘You got Spirit, kid’ nos dio la oportunidad de mostrar un lado más relajado de nuestra personalidad. Con nuestro amor a la nostalgia de los 80\’s, quisimos un estilo a lo John Hughes o Steven Spielberg, mostrando un espíritu de juventud y amistad en cada cuadro«. afirmó Sanchez, sobre el video de la canción.

Esta canción es el primer sencillo de su octavo disco, ‘The Color Before the Sun‘.

Ante esta nueva producción, Claudio Sanchez, vocalista de la agrupación habló sobre su inspiración para este álbum: «la anticipación de ser padre se refleja en la composición de las canciones y no quería taparlas sobre una sábana de ficción… Era realmente un momento muy importante en mi vida y pensé que si me iba a expresar lo más honesta posible, este disco era la oportunidad ideal para hacerlo«.
