The Who presenta su canción ‘Be Lucky’

El 27 de octubre será la fecha de lanzamiento del material recopilatorio ‘Who Hits 50’, con motivo de la celebración del medio siglo de The Who.

Hay que resaltar que este lanzamiento irá acompañado de una gira que se realizará en noviembre. Hasta el momento solo está confirmado que pasará por el Reino Unido, y será la última gira de la banda, ya que también han anunciado su retirada.

Esta recopilación incluirá la canción ‘Be lucky’, una nueva canción después de 8 años sin publicar nuevo material.

Es importante recordarles a los fanáticos de la banda que los ingresos que esta canción genere, serán destinados a la fundación ‘Teen Cancer America’, creada por los mismos Daltrey y Townshend en el año 2011.

En el momento que anunciaron la retirada del grupo, Daltrey declaró en una entrevista para la revista NME: “Este es el comienzo de una larga despedida”.
