Ambas canciones están incluidas el último disco de la banda llamado «Sonic Highways«.
«Outside» fue compuesta y grabada en Rancho De La Luna en Joshua Tree, California, con la colaboración en guitarra de Joe Walsh (Eagles) y Chriss Goss (Masters of Reality).
