Iggy Pop estrena el primer tema de su nuevo álbum con The Stooges

Iggy Pop, de 65 años, acaba de lanzar a través de la página web oficial de su banda "Burn", un adelanto de su próximo disco de estudio, llamado "Ready to die", que saldrá a la venta el 30 de abril.

Será el quinto disco de estudio de Iggy and The Stooges, grupo formado por el músico en 1967, y el primero en cinco años tras la publicación de "The Weirdness”.

"Burn", el corte recién presentado, es un tema de punk rock poderoso en la línea de clásicos de The Stooges como "Search & Destroy" o "Lust for life".

Iggy Pop, llamado realmente James Newell Osterberg Jr, es una de las personalidades más carismáticas del panorama rock internacional. Conocido por su espigado físico y sus extremas puestas en vivo, en las que no era raro que se cortara con botellas rotas, se le considera uno de los artífices del sonido punk rock con discos como "Raw Power".
